Ice Breakers/Name Games

1.       Chin Ball Pass
a.       Either in a relay or circle formation, people must pass the tennis ball using only their chins!
2.       Name Toss 
a.       Items: Tennis balls!
b.      Everyone gets in a circle and must say the name of the person they pass it to and so on
c.       As the game progresses, add more balls to make it more difficult!
3.       Magic Tarp/Peek-A-Who
a.       Items: Large tarp
b.      Split group into 2 teams
c.       When tarp is up each team chooses one member to go up to the tarp.. the two people holding the tarp will drop it at the same time and whoever says the other person’s name first wins and that person must join their team! 
4.       Birthday Lineup
a.       Have everyone arrange themselves in a line according to birthdays!
b.      No talking!
5.       Story of a Scar
a.       Everyone tells a story of how they got one scar
6.       Wrap Around Your Finger
a.       Get a large piece or string or yarn and each person must talk about themselves until the string is wound all the way up on their finger
b.      People who are uncomfortable can wrap around their whole hand
7.       Nickname Story
a.       Items: Piece of paper per person
b.      Everyone writes down one or multiple nicknames on their sheet along with their name on one side
c.       Each person tells a story of each name
8.       Toiler Paper Game
a.       Items: Roll of toilet paper
b.      Each person takes 1-10 squares of toilet paper
c.       Don’t tell them what for
d.      For each square people have to say one interesting thing about themselves
9.       2 Truths and a Lie
a.       Each person takes turns telling 2 truths about themselves and 1 lie
b.      Others must decide which is the lie!
10.   Never Have I Ever
a.       Everyone gets in a circle, using an item as a “place mat”, using one less than the number of people in the group
b.      Person in the middle says something they have NEVER done
c.       If you HAVE done it you must move places, but one person will be left in the middle each time
11.   Count to 20 Game
a.       Everyone stands in a circle
b.      Without two or more people saying the same number at the same time, attempt to get all the way up to 20 as a group
c.       Other ways to do it are to face outwards or close your eyes
12.   Silent Interviews
a.       Get everyone into partners
b.      Once in partners, without talking, you must try to communicate 3 things to one another
c.       After a short period, get back into a large group and each pair must tell the group what they thought the other person was trying to say
d.      Can get super hilarious!
